Description
Developed over a decade, the Supertech R10 Team Helmet is Alpinestars’ most advanced motorcycle race helmet for road and track performance. Its multi-layer carbon composite shell and multi-density EPS are ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM approved, while CFD- and wind-tunnel-refined aerodynamics, 11-vent cooling, and the Optical Class 1 anti-fog visor deliver high-speed stability, all-day comfort, and clear, wide vision.
Included: 2 shields (clear and dark smoke), 2 interchangeable race and standard spoilers (Race and Road), a tear-offs set, a Pinlock lens, a wind deflector, a breath deflector, and a helmet bag.
Key Features
- Impact energy management: Progressive, tuned-density core absorbs and disperses crash forces to reduce head acceleration.
- Chin bar collarbone relief: Elevated profile with energy-absorbing EPP edge helps minimize collarbone contact during impacts.
- Patented rotational-force control: Polished, low-friction inner surface allows controlled slip between head and liner to reduce transmitted twisting forces.
- Emergency cheek pad release: Quick-pull tabs enable safer, faster helmet removal by medical personnel.
Protection
- Multi-Density EPS liner optimized to absorb impact forces with a low-friction coating for enhanced rotational force management.
- Enhanced chin bar protection with a raised profile and EPP liner to reduce collarbone injury risk.
- Patented impact management technology: polished, low-friction inner surface allows independent head movement to reduce transmitted rotational impact forces.
- Emergency Cheek Pad Release System enables safe, rapid helmet removal by trackside medical teams.
- Protective outer shell engineered for high impact energy dispersion and penetration resistance.
- Certified to ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM standards; exceeds standard impact performance by 37% (linear) and 65% (rotational).
- Optical Class 1 visor with anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment, metal locking mechanism, and an ultra-wide field of view (220° lateral, 57° vertical) for clear, secure visibility.
- Eight-piece, multi-density EPS liner with six specific densities for targeted impact energy absorption across critical zones.
Construction
- Carbon shell construction: multi-layer composite layup of 3K high-density carbon fiber, unidirectional carbon fiber, aramid fiber, and fiberglass bonded with epoxy resin; approx. 1,540 g (size M).
- Certification-ready build: shell, EPS, and retention system engineered to comply with ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM certification requirements.
- A-Head fitment system: internal adjustable crown structure allowing height and angle tuning, with four outer and four inner shell sizes for size-specific scaling.
- Aerodynamic structure: CFD-developed outer shell with two interchangeable rear spoilers (Road and Race) mounted on a patented break-away base, plus integrated lateral winglets and molded surface turbulators; wind-tunnel and track-validated shaping.
- Ventilation architecture: 11-vent layout with 7 intakes (3 chin guard, 4 top) and 4 exhaust ports, featuring internal EPS channeling and screened external ports; integrated routing channels for hydration tube compatibility.
- Shield system: Optical Class 1 injection-molded visor with anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings, metal central locking latch, quick-release tool-less side-plate mechanism, tear-off posts, and Pinlock lens interface.
- EPS liner: eight-piece multi-density EPS with six distinct densities and a polished, low-friction inner surface; EPP chin bar reinforcement with extended lower profile finished with flexible rubber edging.
